Since the mage don't show himself, they first need a way to discover his location before they can deal with him
To do that wasn't easy nor hard. The mage has something that he would surely make a move with if it shows and that is either money or cultivation resources
The Prison of Sinners might have mana inside it unlike the previous earth but it was severely lacking
Not all areas of the prison have mana, unlike the new earth. Thus, cultivation resources were also severely lacking
A person needs to be either powerful, influential, or lucky to gain even the most basic resources
But now that some of the prisoners are on earth, things would be different. The earthlings that killed the prisoners can take the cultivation resources for themself
They can use the resources or sell them for a high amount of money.
