"Hello, lovely" he had taken to calling her that as of late. She smiled softly at him her voice cracking in her returned greeting.
"Hello Jarron."
"Do you want to sit up? Would you like some water?" he asked. She nodded yes at both and he fluffed some pillows to help her sit comfortably and got her a glass. She shakily took it with her left hand and raised it to her cracked lips; taking long draws like she hadn't drank water in years.
"Easy now lovely, let's go slowly at first," Jarron said. She looked at him thankfully and then the weight of the last week re-settled on her shoulders. She drew a breath to speak but he waved his hand at her.
"We hope your features are strong enough to dominate his. And that's all we can do Evil. That's all we can do" he said quietly. She nodded at him again, closed her good eye and resumed her healing sleep.
Two weeks later even with the trauma her body had been through, Rajnos' physician confirmed Evil pregnant. And a month after that, he had both her and Jarron taken to a remote planet for her to gestate and heal. Jarron could tell she was angry. Not only with the obvious but she had been a Grand Moff, instrumental to the orders hierarchy and now was demoted to nothing more than a broken incubator.
