I am groaning in pain when I heard the door creaking, and I tried opening my eyes, but I know they are now both swelling. I can feel the pain all over my torso, and then I can hear the click-clack of high heels, and I can tell someone came back to check for me. Even if my eyes are closed, I brace myself for possible danger, and I can't let them hurt me again. Princess Everly was evil; how could she hurt me when I tried to stay away from them. I can hear the footsteps are getting closer to me, and I can't contain the pounding of my heart on my chest, and I can't stop myself from feeling so anxious.
"Ana?" I heard a soft familiar voice calling my name, and I felt so happy that I could feel she is not among my evil roommates.
"Who is there?" I asked as I try to open my eyes again.
