Kaiden's POV
I woke up with a headache, and when I looked around I was alone in our chamber, and I suddenly felt worried. I got up, but I find it so hard to stand up since I still felt so sleepy that no matter how much I wanted to open my eyes they would shut off on their own. I collapsed on our bed and tried to fight my sleepiness.
Even if I felt so weak, my mind felt so strong as I think of my wife and son. I needed to be strong to rescue them. My wife could be in danger, no one knows about this black dragon, except he was a legend a long time ago.
"Winona, my love! Where are you?" I shouted, but I knew my voice couldn't be heard outside our chamber.
I tried to summon my power, but I felt powerless, and I knew my wife did this to me. I could feel my entire body felt so cold as I realized she left alone to find our son. It was my duty to protect my family, but why do I always end up helpless?
