Kaiden's POV
I know breaking my own rules would be risky, but I can't risk the life of my wife and my little boy for the sake of being a law-abiding citizen; besides, I would be careful that in using magic, we will not hurt anyone. I know we can use magic in the human realm, but we should avoid it at all costs since it could trigger some magic users to detect us, and I know other supernatural creatures are roaming around the earth, and some of them are pursuing to ruin the humans. I couldn't stop the rapid beating of my heart, and I realized what a fool I had been for leaving them inside the mall. I hate to think that this is the first time they came into this world, and I lost them right away.
