Carolina got out of the taxi that take them with a confused expression when she saw that her mother's house was gone.
The house that previously looked simple with a small dining area next door, had now turned into a white two-story house that looked large and luxurious, making Carolina wonder if they had come to the right place, but after seeing the familiar surroundings, it made Carolina sure. They came to the right place.
"What is it?" asked Ethan as he walked over to Carolina as he pulled out the newly unloaded suitcase and held Angela in one hand.
"I'm not sure if we've come to the right place," Carolina said quietly, still not believing the two-story house in front of her was her mother's house.
Ethan then followed Carolina's gaze and realized that his mother-in-law's house had indeed changed a lot.
"Looks like the renovator did a great job," Ethan muttered.
"Renovation?" asked Carolina.
Ethan nodded then looked at Carolina.
