"Will I ever be able to go home?" Carolina asked when finally Bagas and the woman came back into the room and sat down where they had been sitting.
The woman smiled faintly when she heard the question.
"You're currently being arrested, so of course you are not allowed. You will always be under surveillance."
Carolina furrowed her brows when she heard that.
"Tch, isn't that the same as being in prison?" Carolina thought irritably.
"Well, you can think about this first carefully, but I can assure you that it's better than being in prison. At least you can sleep comfortably and get enough nutritious food for you and your child," said the woman again who took turns glancing at Carolina's face and stomach.
Carolina was silent when she heard this. Is it really better than being in prison?
