Harry didn't know what to do. On one hand, he really wanted to be open with Berry. Trust was one of the key ingredients to a healthy relationship, and him letting his past out in the open would go a long way in solidifying that trust. On the other hand, however, his past was something that he wasn't proud of. He did a lot of things that now looked stupid in hindsight, but it was still enough for him to know that it was still bad. He just knew that Berry wouldn't like what she'd hear, and he was afraid that she'd end up rejecting him before their budding relationship could truly take off.
