Friya walked on the corner of the hallways, where the garden had been placed in the center. The growing greeny bushes and the blossoming roses were evident as they showed their thorns. The shrubs were lengthening on their own, the sunlight was radiating on the dome-like glass on the upper floors of the hospital.
Friya held on to her shoulder bag and looked at her brownish skirt. She rolled up the sleeves of her sweatshirt and looked at the other side.
She widened her eyes when she saw Feline and Sean, standing beside each other. Sean was holding on to his intravenous pole, the dextrose bag was connected through the intravenous lines by his veins. Friya halted at the deserted hallway, struck by the reality, and she balled her fists on the handle of her shoulder bag.
She looked at them, with the feeling of betrayal tainted through her pupils. Friya was always the aggressive one when it came to their relationship, but not this time. She doesn't want to argue with someone who lost his memories. He was with someone else, and it was the one on whom she had been cheated upon.
Friya felt that deep ache, the sound of her heart thumping with pain, her eyes were brimming with tears instantly. She bit her lip a little later and looked down. She turned and stepped up so fast out of the way. She ran away as fast as she could while Louie was scrambling around the hospital, wanting to find Friya as soon as possible.
Friya ran away from the two of them while the tears escaped from her lids out of control. She placed her wrist on her nose as she hurried on the exit of San Miguel's Hospital. She pushed the glass doors open and went through the parking lot. She didn't notice herself slowing down.
She was taking a few steps away from the front entrance and little did she know, she was sobbing.
Friya halted abruptly at her place while her shoulders were shaking. She placed her balled fist in between her teeth as she slowly walked through the back of her car. She held on there while the tears were continuously streaming down her cheeks.
At the same time, Louie was observing the whole surroundings and he could not get a sight from where Friya had been. He didn't want to show off his face through Sean and Feline in the hallway but he got caught in a glimpse. He halted as he saw them at the corner.
He leaned his back on the pillars of the wall while hearing the distant laugh in that hallway. Louie sighed as he raised his eyebrows and puffed his cheeks. He hissed as he decided to walk up that hallway, maybe he could find Friya over there.
Louie turned his heel around, walking along with the nurse that was ahead of him a few steps, and he was trying to hide his face. But he was unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, Sean and Feline were hesitating to talk to each other for a while. Feline initiated a laugh but Sean was still unconsciously stable. He was confused, he was in a state of befuddled situations he never knew if it should happen or not. He glanced at the other way as a person hiding his face was walking along with a nurse.
Sean furrowed his eyebrows while Feline spoke up, "Are you alright? Do you felt dizzy and such?"
Sean looked at her suddenly while Louie walked past ahead of their backs. Feline didn't seem to notice that it was Louie. She was focused on observing Sean's body. He breathed as he licked his upper lips and showed the little holes on his cheeks. His dimples showed even in that little crease of his face.
He swallowed as he nodded, "I'm alright."
He just simply said it. It was not because he was not in the mood. It was not also because he felt sudden nausea. He felt something was not right. He will admit something in his memories went astray. It lost in the slightest wink of his eyes. Sean sighed as Feline was looking at the Fuschia roses.
"Can I ask how we started our relationship?" Sean asked in a sudden way while he glimpsed at the bushes. Feline looked at him in an instant, astounding way. Signaling that something was wrong with what she said. She parted her lips slightly as she tilted the corner of her mouth and breathed.
"It started when we met along the hallways of Gustin University. We were in college, and we were both freshmen," Feline lied. She was not the one he met down that hallway. She was not the only one who held his heart. Feline was only looking from the distance that time, when Friya and Sean connected their gazes to each other, probably experiencing the love, at first sight, the elderly people always stated.
Sean smiled a little later and looked at Feline with a warm look. Sean nodded as he was convinced. His mind was blank, and he knew that he had to do something to fill it up little by little.
"So you are my first love? Or not?" Sean asked once again as Feline pursed her lips. She silently nodded and chuckled as she was pretending to be a bit shy. She was not guilty in every way. Feline was there when Sean needed someone to remember his memories, and for all she knew, Friya would never do the same.
"You said it to me the time we celebrated our 10th anniversary. I am sure that you will remember that clearly for some time. Just relax for a while, honey," Feline testified in a false way. She sighed after saying that and bit her bottom lip a little. Sean was convinced by that and chuckled.
"I want to apologize for what happened to me... I just want to remember everything even the slightest things we did as a couple," Sean grinned from ear to ear, showing his deep dimples on either side of his cheeks, his tousled hair volumized and held onto the pole once again.
