When Kenji woke up he found himself in a white room on a comfortable bed, he felt like he was in his element.
"Ken-Mr. Akamura… You're awake!"
Kenji lifted his head and seen the monster at his side, he wanted to very much scream in horror but he held it in, but his face was very pale.
"Mr. Akamura, are you alright your face is super pale." Leo spoke with worry.
Seeing his facial expressions, Kenji eased up a bit, right, this is my fanboy, imagine being scared of such a devoted fanboy… If he had ulterior motives he would have killed me much sooner.
With these thoughts Kenji calmed down.
"I'm fine, where are we?" He asked once again looking at the white room he could already guess Leo's answer.
"The hospital, you fainted I was so worried something happened to you. Those evildoers heathens! I destroyed them with my own hands, so you don't need to worry, I still have one alive for questioning, at least I think so, I slowed down my digesting, he isn't very tasty." Leo rambled on endlessly.
Kenji didn't want to hear about this before he loses his mind he stopped Leo from speaking.
"Well, I'm fine we should go."
"We have to wait for the doctor's report." Leo said shaking his head.
"Besides we had to inject your metal fluid back inside of you."
"My metal fluid?" So basically, he, Kenji Akamura, peed himself? If he wasn't an actor he would've blushed wildly, but not only is he an actor, he's quite shameless, so he can play it off.
"Oh, we'll waiting is the right thing to do." Kenji coughed it off.
The two sat in awkward silence as Leo just kept staring at him.
"Hey, Leo, what are you?" Kenji asked finally breaking the ice.
Leo was startled but still answered nonetheless.
"I'm a Venus Flytrap."
Kenji finally understood, what a scary plant.
He had no words to say, so the awkward silence came back.
Luckily the doctor came in at this time.
"Hello, I'm back with a report." The doctor had paper in his hands as he handed the report to Kenji. The doctor's eyes were empty and looked like he didn't want to be there, it made Kenji feel awkward so he hurriedly took the paper, read the contents and waved the doctor off. He got of the bad and got ready to go.
Leo was startled what's going on?
"Let's go." Kenji waisted no effort staying in this hospital. As he stormed out. Leo quickly followed.
Kenji found the limo and got in, they needed to go to unique continent, they had no time to waste here, Leo could do nothing but chase after and follow his idol.
They drove in silence, the hospital was close to the portals so they made it there in no time.
Everyone got out of the car, and Kenji seemingly put the car in his storage space. Leo was shocked his spacial space must be huge.
Leo looked at these colourful portals, there were 6 of them, each of the continents. Leo was so excited, his life was about to truly start!
He turned his head and looked at the man next to him. It's all because of him that he could get this opportunity, his idol, how could he ever pay him back? Leo shook his head slightly.
"Well are you going to go through?" A voice sounded.
Leo was knocked out of his thoughts as he looked at his idol dead in his eyes. Leo looked away and blushed, he kept his head down and walked towards the Unique portal hurriedly.
Kenji squinted his eyes. This elder is weird... He walked behind the slow Leo and nudged him into the portal, and walked through himself, all of the guards and driver followed.
As Kenji went through he felt the air around him disappear, wind blades tear at his skin making him feel like he's being cut in pieces, his breath stopped and he was paralysed, he closed his eye and endured the pain, good thing it only lasts 2 seconds, or he might have fainted from the pain! As he opened his eyes he found himself back in his home. He smiled slyly, he then looked to the side to see Leo's whose face was pale and looked as if he were about to faint.
Kenji put his hands on Leo's shoulders and steadied him.
"What's wrong?" He asked quite worriedly.
Leo looked at his idols worried face and felt himself feeling better, just now that few seconds of pain made him feel drained of life, plant elementals bodies are weaker then everyone else's, even in his plant form he's just a little more sturdy.
Leo was a plant that was wilting, so the pain did him more damage, he needed water immediately.
"I'm fine, I just need to grab some water from my space…" Leo said weakly as he felt everyone else come through the portal too, anxious he'd hold everyone back he grabbed a water bottle with plant Qi water and drank it while walking away from the portals.
"Where are you going?" Kenji asked taking the limo out of his space.
"Oh right I forgot!" Leo ran into the car, a seat is exactly what he needs right now, he sat in the car and absorbed all the plant Qi from the water and circulated it around his body. He smiled happily. It just felt so good.
Kenji looked at Leo weirdly, but he didn't not want to question this monster. He just continued with the ride. Since they were back in Unique Continent he doubted that there'd be any assassination attempts.
He just sat back and enjoyed the ride, he couldn't wait to get back to the company and his home.
It was more he couldn't wait to drop the monster off and leave him in the hands of his friend.
Thinking so, Kenji laid back and calmed down completely, he leaned on the seat and closed his eyes.
