Secat smiled as she looked over to Polemos. "I'll let you know now, I'm a huge eater." She then readied herself in a boxing style stance.
Polemos shook his head as readied himself for what was to come as he spoke up and took a boxing style stance also. "Well that shouldn't be a problem, Rose is the same, she has a huge appetite. So let's get this started!" He smiled near the end until he saw Secat vanish then noticed a fist had entered his field of vision.
He barely was able to put a guard up and brace himself before he felt his bones creek in pain as he slid back a couple meters.
"Wow, good block but minus points for barely putting one up, and minus two more points for not being prepared at all times, and also for looking at my ass. You should always be prepared as your opponent will never wait for you." Secat's orange-red eyes glowed before she vanished again.
Polemos focused on his match as he saw a leg coming straight to the side of his head!
He wasn't able to put a guard up in time as the best he could do is to try and absorb the blow the best he can.
Unfortunately for Polemos, since he didn't really fight against other humans, Secat managed to land a kick to the side of his head. But she felt that it didn't connect all the way. She looked over to Polemos a little surprised.
'He tried using a high level technique to avoid all the damage. Unfortunately for him it didn't work, and he still took a good hit.' She thought as she rushed towards Polemos.
Polemos stumbled a couple meters as he almost fell to the ground. He tried looking for Secat but was unable to see her. Until he felt a blow to his ribs that made him groan in pain.
'Damn, that's what, two, no three fractured, and one broken rib.' Polemos groaned in pain in his mind.
"That was a good one. I felt and heard that one clearly. Little tip, don't use high level technique if you've never used it before. But I can't truly say that about that technique since in order to master it, it does require combat." Secat spoke as she flexed her fist, all the while Polemos stood but his breathing was heavier.
"Yeah besides my ribs, my now two and a half brain cells thank you for the tip. And also, you do have a very well toned and shaped behind." He spoke in sharp and pained breaths as he smiled painfully.
"Well at least you're honest. But still, focus on the spar not my ass, now I need to show those two and a half brain cells a thing or two."
Secat smiled which made Polemos wince slightly as he did his best to focus on where Secat would strike. She didn't vanish as she quickly shifted forward and threw a jab. Polemos was able to see the jab and put up a guard in time but he never felt the fist hit his guard, then he saw a fist from the corner of his eye.
'A feint, crap this is gonna sting.'
Polemos thought before he felt Secat slip past his guard and strike his jaw. Shaking his brain as he felt his legs start to give out and hands lower slightly. Secat saw that and and followed up with a leg sweep and as he fell she followed with an elbow to his chest.
"Crack!"
Polemos grunted out a scream as he felt four more ribs fracture, while another rib broke. Secat was a little surprised as she only broke a single bone, when she put enough strength into the drop to break at least two to three bones. She lifted herself up and crouched near Polemos's head as she asked a question?
"Hey what are your bones made of? That should have broken at least two ribs, when I only got the one. What did you do to get them like that?" Secat asked as she was a little interested.
"The…Blood…of…Beast…Mana Washed…my marrows and washed my bones again. Pain was very intense, still having my bones being broken still hurts." Polemos spoke in pain as each breath hurt and stung, as he looked up to Secat. "You really have beautiful eyes, you know that." He spoke again.
Secat smiled as she flexed her hand, cracking her knuckles in the process.
"You really are a Mad One, flirting with someone who just broke two of your ribs and fractured seven." She didn't say anything further as she hammer striked.
Polemos rolled to the side and barely avoided the hammer blow to his face. He wasn't able to rest as she followed up with a soccer kick to his side. Polemos again tried to lessen the blow by pushing himself up but only felt himself being launched. He flew a few meters as he rolled and tried to catch himself. He was able to get himself to a crouched position and lifted his head looking for Secat. He was able to find her as her knee was approaching his head. Seeing the flying knee he was able to dodge it as she flew past, allowing him to get to his feet.
'A shining wizard, hell if that would have hit I would have been knocked unconscious, probably, I haven't really tested the durability of my bones since the Blood of the Beast Array. But I never really had my bones break, only flesh being pierced or slashed.' He thought very quickly as he turned around to face Secat. 'I should at least try and land a blow, try and go blow for blow and see how that goes.'
Polemos painfully grinned as he readied himself for Secat to attack.
"Still feisty, good, broken ribs shouldn't stop us from having a good time." Secat smiled as she laughed, rushing towards Polemos. "Plus this can't really be called a spar, it's more like a one sided beat down-." She had to stop herself when she saw Polemos throw out a jab!
She smiled as she easily knocked it aside, as she still rushed forward and threw a hook to Polemos's rib cage.
Polemos didn't defend himself as he threw a hook also aiming for Secats jaw hoping he could at least land a blow or luckily rattle her brain.
Unfortunately luck wasn't even cheering or standing in his corner that day.
Secat was easily able to block the strike all while still landing her blow making Polemos grunt in pain as he tried to throw another blow, missing entirely. He stumbled back a couple steps and brought up his guard.
"Good you tried going for a sacrifice blow, crazy but still good. Unfortunately it didn't pan out, but good try nonetheless. Alright let's end this you've learned a lot from this spar. Don't worry, I'll also make sure to invite Secat over for a daily sparring lesson." Gelu spoke up from the side.
"Oh, come on I was just starting to have fun, most of my other members never want to spar or fight me, lazy bums. But since this'll be a daily occurrence then what am I getting paid for to train your disciple. Don't get me wrong I'll gladly fight Polemos but if it's for training then I'd like to get paid." Secat smiled as she glanced over to Gelu.
"That's no problem at all, how's some Liquid stage knowledge of mana of the fire elements sound, along with 15,000 gold for each session." Gelu didn't even stumble on her wording as she replied.
"Add on a War Mana technique for the fire element and deal." Secat added on.
"Done." Gelu answered.
Polemos couldn't help and sigh as he heard what just happened. "At least knock me out before you make a deal in front of me. I mean, I knew, I was gonna lose or get my ass handed to me but, can I at least sleep…crap." He swore as he lost sight of Secat, until he heard her voice from behind.
"You know you also have a well toned and shaped behind also."
Those were the last words Polemos heard before he lost consciousness. He only felt a sharp sting of pain from his neck as he fell like a puppet whose strings were cut.
"You seemed to have enjoyed yourself, Secat. You've been smiling since the beginning and I was able to feel the excitement in your blood." Gelu spoke as she silently and noiselessly appeared beside Polemos catching him with her use of Mana.
"I did, even though it was essentially a one sided beatdown he never gave up nor did he run away, he stood his ground. Plus he was using high level defensive techniques that most would never think or try to do." Secat smiled as she looked at Gelu. "How long before he's fixed up or able to move, he's supposed to cook a feast for losing."
"Oh it won't be long, maybe an hour or two, the night is still young. Besides from what I recall you normally beat or cripple those who've called you beautiful or flirted with you. You even agreed to let him cook a meal for you. Is my disciple your pet or something." Gelu asked as she took out a pendant as it lit up slightly then dimmed.
Secat shook her head. "He's been honest every time he's called me beautiful and never in an insulting manner like everyone else, and he's the one who said he was a good cook. I like to eat." Secat spoke as she replied with a happy look at the end.
"Oh, did he now, I'll have to try some of his cooking as well then." Gelu smiled behind her veil.
