Chapter 3 - 1.2

"Winter, my little snowflake. I'm here!"

The man who came through the ceiling and stopped in front of her was more than handsome. The god Moon – who else could it be? – was glowing with a soft silver like light. He was gorgeous, mesmerizing and totally completely hot.

Lea could understand without a doubt, why Sun had married him and why Winter had an affair with him. His entire being was overflowing with charm and elegance. He just stood there and Lea was already overwhelmed! This man was a god without a doubt, no human could measure up to his appearance. Lea needed to control every fiber in her being not to drool.

[Man, who cares if he is a cheating scum? With an appearance like that he could kill me and I wouldn't mind.]

[Dwyl: I don't know what's wrong with your mind. Writer is obviously more attractive.]

[First of all; nothing is wrong with me. I'm a healthy young woman, how could my mind not stray when seeing a literal god? Second of all, are you in love with your boss?]

[Dwyl: I wouldn't dare! I'm not worthy of being with boss. And… and even if I were, I'm not their type.]

"Winter, is everything alright?" Moon asks concerned. Normally as soon as he entered Winters sight, her face would soften and Winter would talk about how much she missed him. Now she just stared at him stupidly, without saying a word. Did he displease her somehow? Moon really hoped that wasn't the case. He hadn't even gotten the chance to make a move yet. What a shame it would be to let all his hard work be in vain.

Lea focuses again on Moon. "Of course. Why would there be anything wrong?"

If Lea's snowy hands could sweat, they would right now. Not even a minute has gone by and Moon already realized something wasn't normal! How would she survive?

Moon pulled her in his arms and pouted. "Didn't you miss me?"

[Aaah!!! Dwyl! Look, look!! Such a handsome man pulled me in his arms! What do I do?]

[Dwyl: I can see that. No need to shout.]

"Mo… Moon. What are you doing?" Lea couldn't help but stutter. This was the first time she was being embraced by someone.

[Dwyl: Stop stuttering! It doesn't fit your character!]

[I'm sorry, but do you see who's holding me?]

[Dwyl: I do. A scumbag.]

Moon didn't really understand what was going on. Why was Winter being so shy? Normally she was the one clinging to him. "Shining my light on your beautiful appearance. A snowflake is the most pretty in moonlight after all," he said. Complementing Winter usually made her happy.

A smile spread around Lea's lips. Being complemented is the best! "You're not bad looking yourself."

Finally Winter said something that made sense. Moon was relieved.

Finally Winter said something that made sense. Moon was relieved and laughed. "I know. Otherwise, how could I make you look more beautiful?"

Lea on the other hand finally realized he wasn't really complementing her. He was complementing his own beauty by using hers! Noticing this she was immediately put off by Moon's attitude. How could someone be so arrogant?

[Dwyl: What did you expect? He is a god and so are you. Isn't it normal they aren't humble?]

Lea knew that Dwyl was right. A god didn't need to be humble, but it just didn't sit right with her human mind. Moon immediately looked less attractive to her. Narcissists weren't fun. She needed to dump this hot potato immediately! And she would do it using the same vanity that attracted the original Winter to Moon in the first place.

Lea pushed herself out of Moon's arms gently. "Are you saying you're more attractive than me?"

Moon looked at her surprised. Winter had never put him on the spot like this before. How could he answer such a trick question? If he said yes, he would insult his crush, but if he said no his pride would take an immense hit. Of course he was better looking than Winter! He was the husband of the Sun after all, the strongest goddess out there. That alone was prove. If Winter was prettier than him, she would be Sun's wife!

"What's wrong?" he asked, suddenly coming to a rather terrifying conclusion. "Did Sun approach you? Did she ask you to distance yourself from me?" Although Sun had never bothered with his little adventures before, he couldn't think of any other reason why Winter would act like this towards him.

Lea scoffed internally. He really was a scum, fully aware that his wife wouldn't like him flirting with other people. "Moon, everything is perfectly fine and why would your wife approach me? It's not like we're doing anything indecent."

Moon didn't know what to say to that. It's true they hadn't done anything yet, but weren't they planning to? They shared a mutual attraction, didn't they? Why else would Winter act so coquettishly when Moon was with her? He refused to believe it was his own imagination. "Because, I like you and you like me."

"I don't like you," Lea shot him down. "You're just an accessory I use to emphasize my beauty. I've been nice to you, only because you are useful. But lately you've been becoming a bother. I don't care about your feelings. Who wants such a demanding accessory? It makes me tired, and being tired is not good for my appearance."

"You… You… I'm the husband of Sun! The most powerful goddess in this realm. You shall treat me with respect! If anyone is the tool it is you." Moon was furious. How dare Winter? Treating him as if he is lesser than her? He put all this time in her, only to get insulted. This was unacceptable! He would definitely make her pay. Damn. He hadn't even f***ed her yet. He was supposed to be the one who threw her away like a used toy!

[Dwyl: I can't believe you thought him to be attractive. Just look at his ugly scrunched up face.]

[He indeed isn't someone I'd want to be in a relationship with, but honestly I can't help but to find him cute like that. The only thing that's missing is a strong seme to tame him. What about that god Lake? What kind of an appearance does he have?]

[Dwyl: Have you forgotten he is married? You can't match scum like that!]

[Hmm… yes, if I want to match Moon with another god I somehow need to break up his relationship with Sun. Otherwise, Moon's future seme will only be abused by Sun.]

[Dwyl: There are so many problems with this idea. First; how are you gonna get Sun to back of? Second; once a cheater always a cheater.]

[I don't know about the first one, but I'm sure you can help me, Dwyl! An amazing system like you should have some tricks up its sleeve, no?]

[Dwyl: … Maybe.]

[You're great! And I wouldn't worry about Moon being a cheater. I'll search for a good man, that can keep him in check. The biggest reason that Moon is a jerk, is probably because he is sexually frustrated. He needs a man that can give him what he desires. If we find one like that, he'll never cheat again!]

[Dwyl: I have my doubts.]

"Hey! Don't you f***ing ignore me!" Moon screamed. Winter just plane up ignored him! He couldn't believe he ever felt attracted to such an annoying scheming b**ch.

Lea looked at him. "Why are you still here? Leave."

Moon gritted his teeth. Winter was lucky he didn't want to see her disgustingly cold face anymore. "You'll pay for this!"

With those words he left Lea alone in the room. A big grin was plastered on her face. With her new matchmaking plan she had really started to look forward to this world.
