Elsie managed to get Lester off her back by engaging him in some work to meet her sister. She found Eloise practising with the sword in the training area. Elsie stopped for a few moments, observing her sister.
There was anguish, anger, pain, hurt, disappointment and clear frustration on Eloise's face. Elsie was sad looking at the condition of her sister. She didn't want her sister to suffer like that.
Elsie was avoiding Augustus and Theodora at all costs. She couldn't bring herself to face them, not after knowing what Eloise told her.
Elsie wished Ruth was there to guide her, clear her head and tell her what she should do in that situation.
Taking a long breath, Elsie finally stepped forward and approached her sister.
"Sister Eloise?"
Eloise was dripped in sweat. Her hand was red with the rough hold she had on the sword's handle. Her heels were hurt, yet she kept on going.
"Sister Eloise, please stop!" Elsie was getting worried now.
"Sister Eloise!"
