Edwin had his senses on alert. His eyes kept wandering around, taking in every little detail of King Oberon's palace. Currently, he sat with King Oberon in a room where the King couldn't stop talking with Edwin.
Outside the room, on the patio, stood guards on their duty. The large windows allowed the late afternoon rays to seep inside, creating shadows on the velvety red designer carpet on the marble floor.
Nothing bothered Edwin so far. Nothing!
But there was one thing that irritated him to great lengths. And that was Princess Feronia's intrigued gaze which refused to leave him, followed him everywhere he went like a shadow.
"Lord Edwin don't mind me asking too many questions. It is my first time meeting a werewolf, a werewolf leader himself!"
"That is alright King Oberon. I don't get to meet the Demon king himself everyday."
Oberon smirked, liking how fearless and bold the man was.
"Tell me more about yourself Lord Edwin."
