"Where are we going?" Edwin asked again.
"Bloodhorn!"
Edwin's jaw ticked in irritation. "You have told me that before Alexander. But I want to know what is this place?"
"Keep your mouth sealed and do as I say. You will soon find out what Bloodhorn is and what a grave mistake you have made by attacking me."
"You were the one who attacked me first. I only acted in self defence."
"I attacked you because you were so sturbbon!"
"That's in my genes. We O'Dells are popular for that."
It was Alexander's turn to fume in annoyance.
"What an arrogant bastard!" He grumbled under his breath, unaware that Edwin heard him clearly.
Ruth couldn't help but smile at Alexander's situation. She felt the same way when she first met Edwin.
To her relief, Edwin pretended to not hear that because it would have blown his cover. Ruth almost crashed into the woman walking in front of her, but Zoe pulled her back in time. Ruth didn't understand why they abruptly stopped.
