Ruth's brows frowned when she heard the siren of alert going off on the deck.
"What is going on?"
"I don't know." Edwin glanced outside the small window of their room, but he couldn't see much.
For some weird reason, the fog had conquered the whole surroundings when they had a bright sunny afternoon just a few hours ago.
"Let's see." Edwin grabbed Ruth's hand and walked out of their room.
Ruth felt glad that he didn't lock her up in a room as he used to do before whenever they had troubles to face. Now he didn't only trust her powers and abilities but was also confident that she could take care of herself. She didn't always need him to shield her from danger.
The couple hurried on the stairs that led them up and onto the deck. Even before reaching there, Edwin could hear the urgency in people's voices and the chaos.
Kevin spotted Edwin and instantly ran to him.
"What's going on Kevin?"
"My Lord, we... we are in danger."
"What danger?" Ruth asked from Edwin's side.
