Ruth again found herself in that endless darkness with the ground covered in water, yet it didn't wet her feet as she walked mindlessly in an unknown direction. She knew what she should search for.
A ray of light- her only way of escaping this dark abyss!
The deafening silence didn't scare her like before. The knowledge of aloneness didn't make her nervous. Yet she couldn't help but feel restless while wandering there. She needed to hurry up.
But then she heard some light sounds coming from somewhere to her right. Ruth frowned yet followed the direction. She stopped in front of a foggy cloud. It was a gigantic cloud that she couldn't reach.
She craned her neck, searching for any cracks in it. She knew it wasn't just a cloud. As she had expected, she found a crack that illuminated in bright orange.
Ruth's heart hammered against her chest as she realised what it was. It was another of her dreams. It wasn't just a nightmare but a dream that would show her glimpses of the future.
