Edwin tensed instantly. He clench his eyes shut before he slowly pulled out his canines from Ruth's neck. Pain shot in his head as he savoured the taste of Ruth's blood in his mouth.

But he didn't listen to her. His gaze was fixated on the girl standing ahead of him. Ruth turned to look at Maya, who was singing a peculiar melody. Ruth had never heard anything like that before.
Thea gasped in shock, clutching on her husband's arm when Maya slowly began to change her appearance.
