Darius stood facing the woman with white hair and unnaturally white eyes. Not only the serene calmness on her face but also her confusing words irked him.
"Tell me what you know from my past." He demanded again.
"I can answer about only one thing, Darius. You have to choose if you want to know the past or the thing that has brought you here to me." She left no room for argument, but Darius didn't know how to swallow the defeat.
"You are not in a position to give me choices."
"And you are not in a position to force me follow your choices."
Darius had learned how difficult these people were to deal with. If she decided to keep her mouth shut, then there was no way she would answer his question.
So he decided to play safe. He would also get to know about the past. But... with patience.
"Fine!" He exhaled sharply. "I want the directions to Anclona."
That one word tensed the oracle as she stared at Darius. "Anclona?"
