Hilton saw Darius's back as he faced the small village ahead of him. They were currently resting on a hilltop from where they could see the small village nested in the thick forest.
"Are you sure about this, Darius?" Hilton's voice made Darius blink.
"You still have doubts on my capabilities and judgements?" He asked cocking his brows.
Hilton pursed his lips, shaking his head slightly. "You know I didn't mean it that way. But this is just a small village. Why do you think we will find help here?"
Darius turned his head again, staring at the village. "I have done my research. If Cyfrin's information is right then we will find a help here."
Hilton didn't really trust Cyfrin, Zoe's younger brother. "How can you trust a man who didn't care about his old father and his own sister?"
Darius smirked. "That's the quality of an ambitious man, Mr Hilton. Greater the goal, the greater the sacrifice!
Am I not doing the same?"
Hilton was speechless.
