The group sat in Edwin and Ruth's room after the afternoon lunch, unable to find any rest as thoughts kept them busy.
"It has been two days Alpha and yet we haven't heard anything from Balkann." Kevin broke the silence after a long time.
Thea shifted in her place. "They all are acting normally as if the later part of that meeting didn't happen. But they have their mouths shut on the topic of Larnwick.
I tried talking to Aspen, but she changed the topic before walking away hurriedly." She said, recalling the incident from yesterday.
"Have we... have we done a mistake by asking their help?" Rees slowly asked.
But Lester's olive green eyes snapped in his way, shutting him up.
"What else we could do then, Rees? We don't have another way to go to Larnwick, do we?"
Rees sighed, knowing Lester was right. If they had any other way of reaching there, then they wouldn't have been sitting on Nekaku Island with their hopes high.
