Eloise's heart leapt to her throat as she backed away from Harold in nervousness. He looked... upset.
"H-Harold, please leave. I don't want anyone to find you here in my chamber." Eloise managed to say in an authoritative tone.
But that didn't bother the man at all.
"Why did you stop coming to my office Eloise? Didn't your brother tell you to always accompany Elsie? Hasn't he given you the responsibility of helping her to grow Vincardine's business?" He demanded as he stepped closer to her.
Eloise was scared would have been an understatement, and yet she couldn't deny how her body buzzed with an unacceptable excitement as he approached her like a predator ready for his hunt.
She stopped going to his office to learn business after her very first visit. She was shocked by what transpired between the two of them in his office's washroom. She didn't want it to happen again.
