Ruth was combing her hair now only realising how long it had grown over time. She might cut them by a few inches to avoid split ends someday.
Her observant hazel eyes were tracking her best friend's knitted brows and tensed shoulders as she ran errands behind her.
No matter how much Thea tried to keep a straight face, she couldn't hide it from Ruth. Placing her brush down, Ruth turned toward her friend.
"Would you spill it out now?"
"What are you talking about?" Thea muttered, avoiding looking in her way.
"I know you have so many questions about Edwin's out of the blue announcements."
"Oh really, My Luna? Because it indeed felt like that to everyone except one person. You!" Thea didn't need to keep her tone in check when they were in the privacy of Ruth's chamber.
"You knew it right?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at Ruth.
"I never denied it." Ruth shrugged nonchalantly.
Thea threw the napkin in her hand at Ruth, which smacked her straight on the head.
