Eloise went to her chamber. Elsie wanted to help her in cleaning up, but Eloise told her that she was fine and she would take care of herself.
After convincing her nagging little sister, she went into her chamber and directly took a shower. The blood on her face and clothes made her feel disgusted and yet, it also provided her with a sense of domination, and power.
The maid already had a bucket of hot water ready. Eloise stripped out of her clothes and threw them in a corner. She would order the maids to burn that dress later.
She sat on a small seating made out of black marble. She filled the smaller vessel with hot water and poured it on her head. The hot water burned her skin, turning it red instantly.
But Eloise welcomed that burning. It helped with her sore muscles and calmed down her nerves. She took the sandalwood paste and rubbed it on her body. Cleaning every drop of blood from her body and hair, she washed away the anger and the tension too.
