"Edwin... please calm down!" Ruth tried for the tenth time.
"How can I calm down, Ruth? How? How could he do this to me?" He asked in frustration as he continued pacing in front of her.
Ruth was worried after Raynold told her about what happened between Edwin and Lord Augustus. She was displeased with the treachery of Lord Augustus, but she was more hurt by the things he said about Edwin's parents.
And that was the same thing that bothered Edwin too.
"Edwin, you have to calm down first. Anger is not the solution to this situation. You first need to focus on how to get that land for the shipyard from Lord Augustus.
The rest of the thing can be handled later. Okay?"
Ruth managed to calm Edwin a bit and waited until he fell asleep. The night was yet to arrive, but it was better if Edwin just sleeps, instead of roaming in the manor like a raged bull.
