The sparks of orange and yellow kept blasting from the dome in random directions. Nobody could go near it without getting in their way.
Rees stayed sprawled on the uncontrollably moving platform, trying to keep his eye on the cubs.
"Miss Chang how long we should wait like this?" he asked after fifteen minutes.
"I think the whole night. Once the sun rises in the sky, the effect of the full moon will lessen down. The cubs too will be tired and then only we can do something about it."
"Miss Chang let me use my powers. The dome has numerous cracks already and I fear that if we wait for more we may not be able to repair it completely." Ruth insisted again.
But Miss Chang couldn't take that decision. She knew the dangers, but she also knew that the only solution they had, for now, was Ruth.
