The entire group that had gathered in the old building stared at the pile of notebooks and papers kept on the table with a mixture of awe and curiosity.
"Are you serious?"
"Of course, we are Alpha Raynold! The secret compartment was hidden in the shelf in Lord Walter's chamber." Lester repeated.
Raynold shook his head. "I am not talking about that Lester. I am asking are you serious that you decoded the puzzle at the same time Elsie did?"
Lester frowned pursing his lips at the Alpha. "What do you mean?"
Raynold held his hands up in the air in innocence. "I am just asking because my cousin is the smartest one."
"Maybe Lester is picking a thing or two in my company, brother Raynold." Elsie winked mischievously, and Raynold replied with a hearty laugh.
But Lester stood there, gritting his teeth in irritation. "I am the next Alpha of the Bluemoon pack for heaven's sake! I deserve some respect for that!"
