The white cat directly ran to Edwin's building. Taking the back side entry, Zoe entered the building. She was alert and cautious that nobody was watching her.
Stopping outside Edwin's chamber, she finally shifted back to her human form. Knocking on the door, she waited for him to open the door.
After a few seconds, the door opened by Edwin. Zoe rushed inside before he closed the door.
Ruth was sitting on his bed and as soon as she saw Zoe, she jumped on her feet to rush to her.
"Have you got it?"
"Yes and no." Zoe's reply confused both of them.
Zoe sat on the chair, and Edwin and Ruth sat on the couch.
"What do you mean?"
Zoe took out the small roll of paper. She passed it to Edwin.
"This is what I have found. It was placed in the frame of the painting. And here is the key." She gave him the key they had to open the lock in that painting.
"Did anyone see you?" Ruth asked in concern.
