The atmosphere in 'the great manor' was heavy with tensions so much so that Edwin postponed the dinner with Dexter to the next day. He didn't know how he was going to face another shock when he was already on the verge of breaking down everything around him.
He was being very patient with Darius all this time. Thought of killing him had crossed his mind every other day, but it had never been so intense as today after Grace's death.
What he would do now? How was he supposed to find the cure when he had no clue about it? And what if he failed? What would he do then? How would he face those mothers and his people who were having mountains of expectations from him?
He wished he could have gotten one chance to meet Reznor. The dark wizard must know something that would have helped them. Alas!
