Edwin turned around to see Raynold dragging a figure only to throw her on the ground. His eyes had glinted like a wolf's in the night. But when he caught who that figure was, he understood why Ida screamed.
"Raynold no!"
Edwin used his supernatural speed to reach Raynold while Lester ran to help Zoe. Raynold's wolf only cared about a Shade's smell and the fact that the Chief of the Shades was also involved in the loss of the werewolves.
"Leave me!" He growled and managed to get out of Edwin's grip.
He pushed Lester out of his way when he tried to save Zoe and landed a punch in her gut. Now angry out of her animal instincts, Zoe too retaliated with all her might.
"Brother Raynold, please stop!!" Elsie and Eloise tried to stop him but to no avail.
Ruth, on the other hand, was concerned. There were humans in 'the great manor'. Though they were shielded from their eyes because of the birch trees, the possibility of someone passing by couldn't be denied.
