Ruth was surprised to see Edwin's excitement as he pulled her to the ground floor to meet Alpha Raynold. She didn't know who he was because Edwin barely mentioned his friends or relatives. But if he was so excited to introduce her to this man, then he must be someone special to him.
Ruth wished to at least check herself in the mirror once before getting introduced to his guest but Edwin didn't let her and almost dragged her out of his office. They reached the ground floor and in the waiting room where a man stood observing the paintings, his back faced them.
As soon as Ruth entered the room, she noticed a tall man as tall as Edwin with a fine build, standing crossing his hands behind his back.
"Alpha Raynold!" Edwin let go of Ruth's hand and walked straight to greet the man.
