Harold heard the light chatting coming from the other end of the corridor. He turned to reach there to open a door to his right. Entering the room, he saw Augustus, Theodora along with Douglas having a conversation over tea.
They looked in his way, pausing their conversation as he came to join them. Instead of Theodora, Augustus ordered the maid to prepare a cup for Harold. Lady Theodora was not very pleased with Harold's past actions and the direction he chose to walk on.
"You look tensed today." Douglas marked, glancing at Harold, who bore creases on his forehead.
"We have lost another one today. He couldn't make out of the dome and..."
He didn't need to elaborate on it because they had lost a man in the same way last week. Douglas pursed his lips, and if anyone had paid detailed attention to Lord Augustus, then they would have noticed the way his body stiffened hearing that.
But Theodora, she remained unaffected by that news. She focused on her tea, enjoying it with snacks.
