She heard Edwin's warning growl as he glared at her. But it was too late now.
A she-wolf got the opportunity to pounce on Ruth from behind, and she fell face first. A cry left Ruth's lips as she scraped her palms badly. Her back hurt with that heavy weight on it.
She tried to turn around and push that wolf away, but during the struggle, the wolf managed to claw her back, and Ruth screamed in pain.
Edwin panicked to see Ruth in trouble. He tried to get free from the four wolves that attacked him together, but it was not possible.
He roared, calling others for help. Unfortunately, everyone was going through the same struggle as him.
