"Sister Thea! Sister Thea!"
Thea halted in her tracks as she heard Laila's voice. She turned to see the young girl running her way.
"Sister Thea! Where are you going?"
"Laila, I don't have time to explain everything. Just do as I say. Stay with Mrs Payne and make sure that nobody dares to come inside. Listen to what the guards tell you. Okay?" Thea told her in urgency.
But Laila was not ready to give up.
"What are you saying? Where are you going? Sister Thea you are scaring me!" Laila's eyes wailed up with tears.
Thea's face softened. She ran her hand on her face affectionately and told her where she was going. Laila's eyes widened in surprise hearing that.
"Then I am coming with you!" She told stubbornly.
"No ways, Laila! You are not coming with me! It is dangerous!"
"And that is why I am coming with you!" They both turned to see a guard who happened to listen to their conversation.
