Ruth watched Harold and Douglas barking orders at their men and was taking the latest updates about the situation in the town. Her eyes couldn't help but sail towards Augustus, but he kept protecting him from her intense ones.
Laila's eyes darkened as she stilled, staring into nothing.

"Someone might be contacting her through the mindlink." Thea guessed it right.

"What did she say?" Ruth asked impatiently.
Laila's eyes teared up. "Our people... they are injured, and many are dead. They are so many Luna. Everyone is hurt badly, and sister Ida said they needed help. They don't know how many more are coming their way.
