Edwin was frustrated with news of dead rogues as the sequence didn't stop yet. Since the morning, he had that ominous feeling in the back of his mind that something terrible was approaching his way.
He tried to shake off that feeling, but it kept getting back at him more fiercely than before. Today was an important day for him as he was expecting to get answers to many of his questions.
~"Edwin... Edwin..."~
He heard Lester's voice echoing in his mind.
~"What happened?"~
~"We have him. Come fast."~

That was what he was waiting for, for so long. He opened the door between his and Ruth's chamber to find her coming out of the bathroom with dampened hair.
"Edwin?"
He strode towards her and pulled her in his arms, sniffing her scent to his heart's content. By now, Ruth had got used to this sniffing thing.
She craned her neck to give him more space. Edwin's nose rubbed against her skin sensually, making her close her eyes in bliss.
"I love you!"
"I love you so much Edwin!"
