"Rees... you are going to be a father! I am pregnant!!"
He didn't move, he didn't blink. He didn't even breathe as he stood there like a statue staring at her blankly. Thea waited for him to react, but when he took too long, she began feeling nervous.
Wasn't he happy with the news? That thought peeked in her mind, but she put it away.
"R-Rees?"
And before she knew it, he was already on his knees, staring at her stomach with teary eyes. Thea didn't expect that, she was about to say something when he hide his face in his palms and began crying loudly.
Thea tried to calm him, but he wrapped his arms around her waist and began showering kisses on her stomach. Thea giggled at that though her eyes also teared up in happiness.
"I am going to be a... father?" He whispered in awe, running his hand on her stomach.
"Yes, love!"
Standing up on his feet, he kissed her passionately before gazing into her eyes with an intense mixture of emotions.
