Edwin was thinking about what Augustus had told him.
"Edwin, you are thinking about something." Lester noticed the worry on his friend's face so he pointed at it.
Edwin sighed.
"Actually... no... it's nothing. We... will talk about it after you recover completely." Edwin wanted to discuss that matter with Lester but he also didn't want to stress him when he was now recovering from the aftereffects of ingestion of Painite.
"Edwin, don't. Anyways we have a lot to discuss and it is only wise if we discuss everything with others too. They may be of some help."
Edwin nodded, pursing his lips. "But there is something that I want to discuss with you only."
"Then tell me what is it."
Edwin paused for a moment before saying. "Lord Augustus has confessed that he has killed Barret Addington."
"What?" Lester straightened up instantly with wide eyes. "He... told you that directly?"
Edwin nodded his head before narrating the whole incident. In the end, Lester was just speechless.
