The next day, Zoe and her father had their bags packed and a carriage ready for them to go to Vincardine. They had realised that speaking with Cyfrin was as useless as waiting for the Star to fall on a bright day.
So it was the only logical decision for them to go to Vincardine by themselves and try to clean the mess Cyfrin had created. Zoe's father only hoped that Edwin would understand and forgive Cyfrin this one time.
But Zoe had something else to hope for. She hoped after Edwin gave Cyfrin a second chance, he would not blow it for nothing.
"Zoe are you ready?" She heard her father's voice while she was folding the last dress she wanted to carry with her.
Turning around to face him, Zoe smiled. "Yes, father. I am ready."
"Shall we go then?"
"Sure!"
A man came to carry her bag and followed them as they walked a few steps ahead of him.
"Father shouldn't we inform Cyfrin that we are-"
