"What do you want to talk about?" Edwin asked as he and Ruth sat on the porch that faced the town ahead.
The full moon still shone up in the dark sky, and cold wind passed, colouring them in the mood of happiness.
"How about we begin with what you are thinking?" Ruth suggested.
Edwin was silent for a minute, and she patiently waited to guess what he might be thinking at that time.
"About an year ago after that night of celebrations, I stood right there." He pointed at the railings with the movement of his head. Ruth instinctively craned her neck in that direction.
"I had that brown piece of cloth- your memory- in my hands as it called my inner soul. Its intoxicating scent was something I had never experienced in my entire existence.
It was luring me, beckoning me, drawing me in its trap. And in the days after that, I willingly walked into that trap knowing the dangers because the reward was just amazing, incomparable to any fortune in the world."
