"By walking in circles you are only worsening your situation. To solve the mess try taking the straight path."
Rees froze on his spot when he heard that voice coming from his behind.
He turned to come face to face with the man who was a few inches taller than him. He was staring at Rees with his cerulean blue eyes, and his hands were in the pockets of his pants.
"M-Master!" Rees bowed as soon as he noticed Edwin.
"Would you mind if I join you?" Edwin asked, walking towards Rees.
But his tone sounded anything but asking for Rees's permission.
"But Master... it is getting late. You need to rest."
"Does that mean you do not want me to join you?" Edwin cocked his brow challengingly at him.
Rees immediately bowed again before correcting himself. "No Master. I did not mean it like that. I would be more than glad if you spend time with me."
"Good for you!" Saying that the two men strolled around in silence for a couple of minutes.
