Ruth was confused. She did not understand why would Edwin wait for her near the woods. He was not in a great mood all day. He did not even speak with her and now he wanted to meet her near the woods out of all places?
"Alright! Thank you!" She dismissed the guard.
She saw Elsie and Ida walking ahead of her. Miss Chang had already retired to her room. Ruth turned her head to her left and to the woods, but the slowly creeping dark did not help her at all.
