"Rees?"
The man's eyes widened, and he turned around to see Rees. Thea took that chance and dashed for the door.
Unfortunately, Thea underestimated that werewolf.
Before she could reach the door, he grabbed her by her hair and pulled her harshly back. Thea screamed in pain, but the next impact came when he threw her into the wall again.
The impact was so painful that Thea did not recall any other time she had received so much pain. Every bone in her body cried in agony. Hot tears river down her eyes, yet she held those shoes close to her chest.
"Enough of this! Let's get this over now!" She heard his rough voice above her.
Her teary eyes and the dim light coming from only one torch made it hard for her to look up at him. She saw his blurry figure hovering above her. She saw him raising his hand for the final blow, but before it landed on her, he was kicked to the side by someone.
