Elsie informed Miss chang and Mr Welby about the emergency and that they would be late for today's session. She told Rees to reach Edwin's office as soon as possible through the pack link.
"Brother..."
"Master..."
Both women burst into Edwin's office without his permission taking him off guard. Yet he remained calm sitting in his chair. Raising his brows at them, he asked, "Is there any tiger I need to protect you both from?"
"What happened? What is the emergency? Elsie... Elsie..."
They heard a panicked voice approaching their way, and soon Lester burst in from the door, looking like a hunter ready to take the beast down.
"Seriously Elsie?!"
Based on their past experiences, Edwin and Elsie had decided that they would never say the word emergency to Lester. And yet Elsie did exactly that.
She smiled sheepishly before smacking Lester's forehead with the back of her hand.
"What?"
"Shhh!"
