"Edwin, I told you that confronting him was useless. When are you going to understand that... that they are not what you think they are." Lester was with Edwin in his office chamber along with Rees.
Edwin told them about the conversation between him and his uncle.
"I know Lester but I had to at least try. Now that he had denied accepting anything we have the liberty and right to do the things with our ways." Edwin reasoned.
"And how are we going to do that?"
Before Lester's question was answered, the door opened and Thea walked in with tea and snacks for the men. Now that her mother's health was better than before and Mrs Payne took the responsibility of taking her care, Thea and Rees could again resume their duties.
She poured tea for all of them and filled their plates with the snacks she had brought with her. She stood behind Edwin silently as they discussed the matter in their hands.
