The next morning, the Sun rose up in the sky and yet Ruth was asleep in her bed. She had very vague memories of how she got back home after spending that thrilling time with Edwin.
Mrs Payne took a bath and prepared the breakfast, yet Ruth was not awake. Pursing her lips at the young lady's laziness, Mrs Payne decided to wake her up in her style.
"Ruth... wake up sleepyhead!" She began calling her name loudly and shook her shoulders.
But Ruth was too lost in her sweet sleep that she only hummed while turning to the other side.
"Ruth, don't you need to go for the training today? Miss Chang will not tolerate unpunctuality from your side. Wake up!"
"Five minutes..." Ruth mumbled in sleep.
"No Ruth. The Sun is already in the sky. You are already late. You need to wake up right now." Mrs Payne again shook her shoulders.
