Instead of knocking on the door, Zoe decided to hear what was cooking inside Cyfrin's office. She tried with the door handle, and fortunately, the door opened. Zoe checked in the corridor if anyone could walk on her.
Her all senses were on alert. She peeked inside the office to see Cyfrin speaking with a man and a woman. The first thing Zoe's eyes searched was for a tattoo on their body.
And she found it.
They were spies.
Zoe narrowed her eyes as she eavesdropped on their conversation.
"What is going on there? Any special news?" Cyfrin asked from where he sat in his chair.
The man and the woman stood in front of him.
"You must have heard about the rogue attack." The woman said.
Rogue? It meant they were speaking about the werewolves.
"Yes, but he survived didn't he?" Cyfrin nodded his head.
"Yes, chief. It is said that it was a planned attack. Someone sent those rogues to kill him." The man added.
"Really? And who it might be?" Cyfrin cocked his brow questioningly.
