Ruth and Edwin were in his office chamber. Edwin had noticed how restless Ruth was during the lunch, and thus he took her to his office and asked what was the matter.
"Edwin, I... I want to confess something to you." Ruth bit her cheek as she rubbed her thumb over her palm.
Edwin took her hand in his then patted them softly. "Do not hesitate to share anything with me Ruth! Tell me what is it?"
Ruth was thinking about this a lot recently. She did not get a chance to speak with Lester about it later about that rogue attack at the waterfall. But she could not wait for more as the weight on her chest kept growing day by day.
"Edwin, a few days ago I... I got another dream." She waited to gauge his reactions.
"What?" Edwin sounded alarmed. "What was it?" His heart raced in nervousness.
"It... it was about you."
Edwin tensed, thinking about the probabilities of what it might be.
