Ruth and Edwin did not realise how they slept at some point in the night. Their bodies were entangled with each other and hair was messy on their heads.
Ruth was the first one to open her eyes. Edwin must be exhausted after letting his wolf come out. Ruth tilted her head up to look at his handsome face. It was calm and if she was not mistaken, then it also had a small satisfying smile on his face.
And then Ruth realised something. She was smiling herself too. Since she got to know about Edwin's truth, every morning began with immense pressure on her chest. But today, it was different.
Today her chest felt light as that pressure had been lifted from it. She was happy... truly happy!
"I promise I will not regret it a bit!!" She whispered before pecking softly on his lips.
She was pulling away from him, but he held her tight to pull closer.
"And I promise I will not let such time to come!" He sealed his promise with a soft kiss.
