Rees and Kevin shared a look before they tried to wake up Edwin, but he didn't budge. And the young girl resting beside him slept like she had no care in the world.
Rees's anger was rising with every passing minute seeing a person from the opposite gender so close to Edwin and who was not his best friend Ruth.
How would Ruth have felt if she had seen this? He wondered. He shuddered, thinking about what her powers could do if she got triggered.
"She would have burnt this girl in the most torturous way."
Rees's head snapped in Kevin's way to see his eyes trained on the young girl beside Edwin. Though he didn't see the same anger as him in Kevin's eyes, he made out detesting clearly.
Rees sighed. "let's get them out of here before I lose my control and tear her apart in shreds."
Kevin nodded because he knew how impatient and cruel the warrior wolves were given the fact that he was one of them.
